Develop Students Skill by Using Social Media

 The implementation of online learning, of course,make most students use the internet more frequently than before the pandemic.It can also be said that the learning time is less than the time spent using social media. Due to the many tasks and causing a feeling of boredom, it makes students even more comfortable using social media. If you pay attention to this occasion, then the teacher should see social media as an opportunity to develop students' abilities.

The use of youtube for example to develop students 'abilities in getting life lessons from useful video content and also to train students' listening skills, can be tried to be applied in learning. Seeing the frequency of YouTube users is the number of children who are still in school, of course it will make students interested when given assignments as previously mentioned. they will still feel happy because they do the task without having to leave social media. As another example, the application with the third most downloads, Tik Tok, can be used as a learning tool that focuses on developing students' creativity and speaking skills. By using  this application can also make students more interested in learning, if the teacher delivers some material using this application.

The use of social media is now inevitable, because social media itself has become part of people's lives. When parents' fear arises because their child uses it too much, uses it unwise, and the fear of child seeing or looking for negative content, actually this is can be avoid. When a lot of people create negative, deviant, and useless content on social media, that's a good time to include the role of teachers and other good  people to replace useless content with more educational content. Student can also do that things, How can students involve in change negative content that is useless be a useful content? by develop skills that students have and participating in creating better, educational, and useful content, so that over time bad content will be overwritten.
